Twenty-Year-Old Shot in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – On Friday, around 6:28 p.m., the Paterson Police Department responded to a shooting report near Broadway and Washington Street.

A 20-year-old male victim with a non-fatal gunshot wound was found and transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, along with the Paterson Police Department, is actively investigating the incident. A potential crime scene has been identified in the area.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
