West Goshen, PA- Authorities have announced the arrest of two additional suspects in relation to the October 19th Wawa shooting in West Goshen Township. Zubair Bethea, 20, and Omar Beard, 31, both from Chester, Pennsylvania, were detained on Monday in Delaware County. They face charges including robbery, conspiracy, and possession with intent to deliver. Both suspects were arraigned by Magisterial District Judges, each receiving a bail set at $500,000, and were subsequently placed in Chester County Prison.

The incident, occurring at approximately 2:03 p.m. on October 19, involved reports of individuals fighting and shooting at each other in a parking area shared by a Wawa store and TD Bank. Witnesses depicted the suspects and stated that two individuals were seen with firearms. Surveillance footage disclosed a struggle over a black trash bag later identified to contain marijuana. Previously arrested suspects, Frank Johnson and Zahir Scott, allegedly fired upon each other before their capture shortly after the event, with police recovering their firearms.

Through continued investigation, Bethea and Beard were identified as accomplices in the attempt to seize marijuana from Johnson.
