Washington, DC – Detectives from the D.C. Metro Police Department have made two arrests for armed offenses in their jurisdiction. The incidents involving an assault with intent to kill and an armed burglary led to the apprehension of two individuals on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a man was shot and injured on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, around 8:47 p.m. in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. The victim was promptly taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. This assault with intent to kill prompted a thorough investigation, culminating in the arrest of 20-year-old Kamaree Robinson, who is currently without a fixed address.
The second incident occurred on February 6, at about 5:29 p.m., when two suspects forcibly entered a residence in the 5000 block of Kimi Gray Court, Southeast. Displaying a handgun, they stole property from the occupants. The case remained under investigation until the arrest of 57-year-old Bernard Adolphus, a resident of Southeast DC. Both Adolphus and Robinson face charges related to the armed burglary at Kimi Gray Court, with Robinson also charged with Assault with Intent to Kill.
