Two suspects are now facing charges in connection with the 2025 killing of a 15-year-old boy who was shot in Allston, police said.
BOSTON, Mass. — Two people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Allston more than a year after the homicide, according to the Boston Police Department.
Members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Armani Collazos, 26, of Brighton, at about 6 a.m. Friday in the area of North Beacon Street in Brighton.
Collazos was taken into custody on a Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging him with:
- Murder
- Assault and battery with a firearm
- Four counts of assault with intent to murder by means of a firearm
- Carrying a loaded firearm without a license
- Carrying a firearm without a license, second offense
Later Friday morning, at about 8:45 a.m., members of the Boston Police Homicide Unit arrested Miranda Bodden, 22, of Allston, in the area of Everett Street in Allston.
Bodden is charged with five counts of accessory after the fact.
The arrests stem from a shooting that occurred at about 8:10 p.m. on June 12, 2025, near Gordon Street in Allston.
Responding officers found Phillip Franco, 15, of Brighton, suffering from a gunshot wound outside 7 Pomeroy Street.
Franco was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries on June 17, 2025.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate the case.
