GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL – 18-year-old Skyler Townsend was murdered on November 17th and this week, police announced the arrests of two suspects.
“Today our investigators charged Kieshawn Smith and Daveion Austin with additional charges related to the 11/17 shooting on Center Street, which lead to the death of 18 year old Skyler Townsend,” police said. “Smith and Austin have been charged with Felony Murder, due to their participation in a felonious act which ultimately lead to the death of Townsend. Both Smith and Austin are currently incarcerated in the county jail.”
