Two charged for shooting store windows with bb gun in Clark

CLARK, NJ – Between March and June, the Clark Police Department received 16 reports of Criminal Mischief, where the plate glass windows of many different storefronts in town were shot with a BB gun.

After a long investigation Det. McDonald, aided by Det. Joy was able to identify and charge two suspects.

Shahid Latif and Sarah Zappulla, both of Clark, were arrested and charged with: Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Criminal Mischief. Both were charged on warrants and committed to the Union County Jail to await a First Appearance Hearing. As this is an ongoing investigation, please contact Det.
