Two Charged in Murder of Deaf Man During Road Rage Incident

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana State Police have apprehended two individuals involved in the road rage shooting that led to the death of a deaf man on a highway last week.

Ryan Hawkins, a 35-year-old, was found deceased on Wednesday around 1:15 p.m. in a pond off northbound I-65. Hawkins, while driving his Hyundai Elantra, was shot in the neck after being fired upon by someone in a Ford Explorer.

On Friday, Andre Briski, 24, and Shawna Rowland, 23, were both arrested in connection with the case. Briski faces charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, while Rowland faces charges of assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice.
