Two Dead, Seven Injured in Weekend Shootings in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Two individuals are dead and seven are hospitalized following separate incidents of gunfire over the weekend.

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot on Saturday night near Independence Hall, while another man, age unknown, drove himself to Pennsylvania Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.

Another fatal shooting took place on the 700 block of E. Madison Street, leaving a 39-year-old man dead.

Two other men are listed in critical condition.

Additionally, other separate shootings occurred in Feltonville, West Philadelphia, and Somerton, resulting in non-fatal injuries.
