Two hospitalized after double shooting in North Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – A double shooting sent two men to Temple University Hospital on Sunday night after gunfire erupted on the 2700 block of West York Street in the city’s 22nd District.

Police say the shooting occurred around 8:36 p.m. Both victims, described only as adult males, were rushed to Temple—one transported by officers, the other by private vehicle. Their current conditions have not been released.

Investigators have not identified a motive for the shooting, and no arrests have been made. The case is now being handled by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group, which continues to canvass the area for evidence and witnesses.
