Two hospitalized after Lansdowne shooting, investigation underway

TOWSON, Md. — Baltimore County police are investigating a shooting in Lansdowne on Friday night that left two men hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Officers from the Wilkens Precinct responded to reports of a shooting around 10 p.m. in the 3800 block of McDowell Lane. Upon arrival, they found a 29-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Shortly thereafter, police received another report of a 41-year-old man who had arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Officials have not disclosed whether the two incidents are connected.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Baltimore County police urge anyone with information to contact them at 410-887-3700. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Metro Crime Stoppers, which is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
