Two Injured in Roxbury Shooting, police investigating

BOSTON, MA – On Thursday, two people were shot on St. James Street in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. Boston police officers responded to the scene at around 2:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, they discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital and treated for their injuries.

Police said both individuals are expected to survive.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and the motives behind the shooting remain unclear.

The Boston Police Department has investigated the incident, urging anyone with information to come forward. Police are looking into any possible connections between the victims and the shooter and any potential witnesses or surveillance footage from the area.
