Two juveniles arrested in connection to Beltway Plaza shooting and armed robbery

GREENBELT, Md. — Detectives with the Greenbelt Police Department have arrested two juvenile suspects linked to a shooting at Beltway Plaza on November 23, as well as an armed robbery that occurred shortly before the shooting, the department announced Monday.

The arrests were carried out by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Taskforce in coordination with the Greenbelt Police Criminal Investigative Unit. The names of the suspects, both minors, have not been released due to their age.

Authorities believe the two incidents are connected, and the arrests mark a significant development in the investigation. Details about the victims and the extent of their injuries from the shooting have not been disclosed.

The Greenbelt Police Department thanked the U.S. Marshals and its investigative team for their coordinated efforts in apprehending the suspects.
