Two Kilograms of Cocaine Seized in Harrison, One Arrested

HARRISON, NJ – On Wednesday, a week-long narcotics investigation conducted by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, along with the United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations-Newark Office, led to the arrest of a local resident.

Jose Estrada-Castillo, 60, was arrested on Harrison Avenue and Third Street and is currently detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.

Estrada-Castillo faces multiple charges, including possession with the intent to distribute cocaine within 500 feet of public property and within 1,000 feet of a school, among others.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately two kilograms of cocaine, 200 grams of which were found on Estrada-Castillo at the time of his arrest.
