Two lucky Brooklyn locations sell winning Take 5 tickets

BROOKLYN, NY — Two Take 5 top-prize-winning tickets, each worth $16,596.50, were sold in Brooklyn for the Dec. 28 evening drawing, the New York Lottery announced.

The winning tickets were purchased at LQ Wine & Liquors, located at 1008 Rutland Road, and Organic Deli Food Mart, located at 2317 Voorhies Ave.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes, according to lottery officials.

The New York Lottery encourages players to check their tickets for any potential winnings.
