Two Men Face Charges Following Severe Assault in Rockaway Park Deli

QUEENS, NY – District Attorney Melinda Katz recently announced that Saber Abuhamra, 34, and Jorge Hernandez, 23, have been charged with assault and strangulation following a violent incident in a Rockaway Park deli.

The incident unfolded when James Keena, 31, complained about his food.

The two suspects allegedly attacked Keena, leading to his hospitalization in critical condition. If convicted, they could face up to seven years in prison. They are set to return to court on June 16.
