Two New Jersey Tickets Win $10,000 Prizes in Mega Millions Drawing

TRENTON, NJ- Two third-tier prizewinning tickets were sold for the June 2 drawing of Mega Millions, each winning a $10,000 prize. The tickets matching four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball were purchased at Wawa #994, located at 320 Route 72 East, Manahawkin in Ocean County, and 7-Eleven #39228, located at 2264 Morris Avenue, Union in Union County.

Along with the third-tier prizes, 20 players matched four of the five white balls, earning each ticket a $500 prize. Four of these tickets had the Megaplier option added, which multiplied their winnings to $1,000. Additionally, 27,783 other players from New Jersey won prizes ranging from $2 to $400, resulting in a total of $116,592 in winnings.

The winning numbers for the June 2 drawing were: 03, 16, 19, 36, and 60. The Gold Mega Ball was 25, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

For the next drawing on Tuesday, June 6, the Mega Millions jackpot will be $218 million. The drawing will take place at 11:00 pm, and all Mega Millions tickets from New Jersey must be purchased before 10:45 pm to be eligible. Each ticket costs $2, and players have the option to add the Megaplier for an extra dollar, which can increase non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are available in 46 participating jurisdictions, and drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
