Two Shot in Head, Dead in Brooklyn as NYPD Investigates Double Homicide

BROOKLYN, NY — A tragic shooting incident occurred on Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of two individuals in Brooklyn’s 70th Precinct. Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:11 AM, reporting a shooting on Avenue I.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Tanezia Blockwood, a 29-year-old female, and Teddy Knight, a 35-year-old male, both unconscious and unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to their heads. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced both individuals deceased at the scene.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are working to determine the motive and identify any suspects involved.
