Two shot, one dead in Baltimore by armed security guard in Baltimore

On July 13, 2021, at approximately 4:37 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a grocery store in the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a reported shooting. When officers arrived at the location they observed an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds and an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. Both shooting victims were transported to area hospitals and the male victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Investigators have learned that both the male and female were shot by an armed security guard working in the grocery store after a physical altercation. Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
