Two Shot One Dead In D.C.

Washington, D.C. – A fatal shooting left one man dead yesterday evening in Southeast D.C.

At approximately 7:41 p.m., officers from the Seventh District responded to reports of gunshots in the 3500 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. While investigating the scene, two victims arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds.

Despite efforts to save him, 31-year-old Anthony White of Northwest succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, an adult male, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
