Two Shot, One Dead in D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a double shooting in Southeast D.C. that left one man dead and another injured last night. This incident happened on the 4400 Block of Bowen Road at approximately 9:45pm.

The police discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds and according to reports, the man has died from his injuries. Shortly after, police discovered a second person shot in the area. This victim was brought to the hospital for treatment. There has been no update as to his current condition.

Police have not released any suspect details or information on what may have led up to the shooting.
