Two shot, one dead in Hilltop shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – A shooting in the Hilltop neighborhood on South Eureka Avenue has left one man dead and a woman injured. The incident, which appears to have been a domestic dispute, resulted in 57-year-old Alfred Davis Jr. being charged with murder and felonious assault.

Columbus Police officers arrived on the scene shortly before 4 a.m., finding Joshua Farmer unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

A 47-year-old woman was also injured in the shooting and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation.

Police announced the arrest of Alfred Davis, Jr. as a result of their investigation.
