Two Shot Sunday Night in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault in the 52 Precinct.

On Sunday at approximately 4:09 a.m., in front of 2705 Morris Avenue, a 37-year-old male and a 43-year-old male were approached by an unidentified male who brandished a firearm and fired multiple rounds at them. The 37-year-old was struck in the left elbow, and the 43-year-old was hit in the right hand. Both victims were transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital by private means.

The suspect fled northbound on Morris Avenue. He is described as a male with a medium complexion and slim build, approximately 5′ 7″ tall, 190 pounds, with long hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.
