Two Stabbed, One Dead in Vineland

VINELAND, NJ – A fatal stabbing incident in Vineland has left one person dead and another in critical condition.

The Vineland Police Department responded to a report from the 600 block of Ridgewood Avenue last Friday, approximately at 1:46 AM.

Upon arrival, officers found victims Sharon Taylor, 60, and James Taylor, 51, at their residence. Both victims were suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Sharon Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, while James Taylor was airlifted to Cooper Hospital. He remains in critical condition.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. The Vineland Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office asked anyone with information to contact Detective C. Fixler at 856-691-4111 or Detective P. Panchesine at 856-332-6233.
