Two Struck in Hail of Gunfire in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Jersey City Police Department is investigating a shooting that transpired on Saturday evening, resulting in two individuals sustaining non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The incident unfolded shortly before 6:45 p.m. near Rose Avenue.

Arriving officers found shell casings at the scene and one person suffering from a gunshot injury.

This victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. Simultaneously, a second individual, also wounded by gunfire, arrived at the hospital’s emergency room.

Both victims are in a non-life-threatening condition. The circumstances and motive behind the shooting remain unclear. As of now, no arrests have been made. The investigation by Jersey City Police continues.
