Two Teen Girls Attacked Inside Wikes-Barre Park

WILKES-BARRE, PA – An assault occurred at Miner Park on Monday evening, leaving two 14-year-old girls from Wilkes-Barre with minor injuries. The incident took place at 7:01 PM and involved multiple suspects believed to be between 14 and 16 years of age.

Police were called to the scene following reports of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, they learned that the assailants had already fled. The victims, who reported being unexpectedly attacked by several juvenile females, were treated by medics and then released to their parents.

Authorities have secured footage of the assault and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
