Two teens charged for robbery

CHICAGO, IL – Two male juveniles, aged 17 and 16, have been apprehended and charged with robbery by the Chicago Police Department. The offenders were arrested on June 2 in the 7300 block of S. Phillips Ave.

According to law enforcement officials, the two individuals were identified as suspects involved in a robbery incident that took place on June 1, 2023, at approximately 5:00 a.m. in the same block of S. Phillips Ave. The victim, a 31-year-old male, was forcefully deprived of his property during the incident.

Following their arrest, the offenders were taken into custody by the Chicago Police Department. They have been charged with one felony count of robbery each.

At this time, no further details about the incident or the offenders have been released by the authorities.
