Two Teens Injured in Philadelphia Double Shooting; Suspects Detained

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A serious shooting incident occurred in Philadelphia, injuring two young individuals. The event took place at approximately 3:35 PM on the front lawn of a residence located on the 6300 block of Horrocks Street.

A 17-year-old male victim was shot once in the right shoulder and once in the chest. He was promptly transported him to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by Medic 12 and is reportedly in stable condition. The second victim, a 15-year-old female, suffered a graze wound to her left leg and was taken to the same hospital by police.

She, too, is in stable condition.

Philadelphia police have secured the scene and taken three suspects into custody as part of the ongoing investigation. Two firearms were recovered at the scene. The Shooting Investigation Group is actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and the motives of the individuals involved.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information related to this shooting to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
