Two Teens Shot in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – Police are investigating a broad daylight shooting of two males in their teens in Paterson on Tuesday.

On the afternoon of October 17, at around 2:43 p.m., Paterson Police Department officers responded to a shooting report at the intersection of East Holsman Street and North Bridge Street in Paterson, New Jersey.

Upon arrival, officers found two victims, an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old female, both residents of Paterson. The victims were immediately transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

The police managed to identify a possible crime scene nearby. The investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing, with further details to be disclosed as they become available, according to statements from Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi.
