Two Teens Stabbed, One Killed in Lower Manhattan Assault

New York City Police Department dispatched to crime scene.

NEW YORK, NY – Police responded to a stabbing incident at 96 Lafayette Street in the 5th Precinct area on Thursday, November 23, at approximately 0150 hours. A 911 call led officers to two males, aged 17 and 19, suffering from stab wounds to the torso.

The 17-year-old was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced deceased. The 19-year-old is in stable condition at the same hospital.

The identity of the deceased awaits family notification. Police continue their investigation into this violent event.
