PHILADELPHIA, PA—A tragic stabbing incident occurred in Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in two fatalities. At approximately 1:33 PM, officers from the 2nd District were called to a residence on 60XX Bingham Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered two females, ages 75 and 58, in the basement of the home. Both victims had sustained multiple stab wounds.
The victims were pronounced deceased by Medic 48 at 1:45 PM. As of now, there are no suspects or motives identified, and the scene remains under police control.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case, and they urge anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
