WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will step down from the Democratic leadership but will remain in Congress, Punchbowl News reported on Thursday, adding that Hoyer will back Representative Hakeem Jeffries to lead House Democrats.
