Unconcious Philadelphia Man Wakes Up to Attack Responding Police Officers

WEST CHESTER, PA – On Tuesday, around midnight, officers responded to a report of an unconscious male in a vehicle at the intersection of W Gay St and N Church St.

Upon arrival, officers encountered Gregory Davis, a 36-year-old from Philadelphia.

During the investigation, Davis became combative, leading to a physical altercation with the officers.

He was subsequently taken into custody and faces charges including Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Institutional Vandalism, and Obstructing Highways.

A preliminary hearing is pending.
