Unidentified Body Found in River At Maryland State Park

MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD — The Maryland Natural Resources Police is calling for public assistance in a deceased missing person case at Patapsco Valley State Park. On Sunday, June 9, at approximately 5:00 PM, officers were dispatched to the McKeldin Area of the park, where a missing individual was later found deceased in the Patapsco River near the McKeldin Rapids.

The victim, a Hispanic male estimated to be between 25 to 35 years old and about 5 feet tall, was last observed wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and white and red Nike sneakers. His body was recovered along the park’s yellow trail following his disappearance.

Authorities urge anyone who might have information about the identity of the deceased or details about the incident to come forward.
