Union Pacific train in California strikes and kills person

(Reuters) – A locomotive operated by Union Pacific struck and killed a trespasser at a crossing in Los Angeles county, California, according to a report by Union Pacific filed with the state’s emergency services.

“The passenger main line is closed for investigation,” the report further added.
