Before hitting a game-winning home run to secure Team USA’s home team advantage in the gold medal game, third baseman Kelsey Stewart was just 1 for 12 in Olympic play. Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the 7th inning Stewart launched a bomb over the right fielder’s head for a walk-off 2-1 win. Now 5-0 in pool play, the U.S. will advance to the gold medal game against Japan.
