Utica Police Charge 17-Year-Old in Blandina Street Shooting Incident

UTICA, NY – On September 26, Utica Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired on the 900 block of Blandina Street at about 6:45 p.m.

Upon reaching the scene, officers located several spent shell casings and proceeded to search for additional evidence, witnesses, and surveillance footage. Video obtained from a nearby location clearly captured the incident and the individual responsible for firing the shots.

Through subsequent investigation, a 17-year-old suspect was positively identified. On September 27, an investigator with the GIVE unit charged the individual in connection to the incident.
