Utica Police Charge Suspect in Criminal Mischief Case

Utica, NY – The Utica Police Department investigated a criminal mischief incident reported in late August where a surveillance camera recorded an individual causing damage to a property on the 1200 block of Kemble Street. The damages were estimated to exceed $6,500.

Following the incident, the case was handed over to the Criminal Investigations Division. With support from the Mohawk Valley Crime Analysis Center and New York State Parole, a suspect was successfully identified.

On Tuesday, police located and arrested the suspect, Ryan Anderson, 53, from Utica. Anderson has been charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.
