Utica Police Investigate Shooting at Late-Night Party

UTICA, NY – Early morning gunfire disrupted a large after-hours party in Utica, prompting police intervention. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 AM on July 6th at 1428 Lenox Avenue. Utica Police units, responding to reports of shots fired, arrived to find the party in full swing.

Despite efforts to gather information, party attendees provided limited cooperation concerning the events. During the investigation, it was discovered that a vehicle had been hit, with damage noted to the front windshield.

A thorough search of the area led to the recovery of six spent shell casings and a projectile in front of the establishment. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to piece together the details of the shooting.
