Utica Police Seize Firearms and Arrest Man After Shots Fired

UTICA, NY – Utica Police units were dispatched to 2 Sim Pl. on Monday, around 10:10 pm, following a shots fired report. Officers found a deserted pickup truck and four spent .40 caliber shell casings at the scene.

The resident of the property, 38-year-old Kevin Gottlieb, was arrested following the execution of a search warrant which resulted in the seizure of two handguns. Gottlieb now faces multiple charges of criminal possession of a firearm and a weapon.
