Vandal destroys kiosk at NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify an individual wanted in connection with a criminal mischief incident at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle subway station. The incident occurred on Monday, October 9, 2023, around 1:05 am.

According to the report, an unknown male damaged an MTA display screen by striking it with an unknown object.

No injuries were reported as a result of the act. The individual subsequently fled the station to an unknown location.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information about the individual to come forward.
