NEW YORK, NY – Ella Emhoff, a 21-year-old senior attending Parsons School of Design in New York City has landed a coveted gig as a model with the IMG modeling agency. Emhoff is the step-daughter of Vice President Kamala Harris. Models at IMG earn between $65,000 and $250,000, with a median salary in the company of $200,000. Days prior, Amanda Gorman, the inaugural poet was also signed by the agency.
“I was pretty surprised when everything with IMG was happening because when I was younger, I never saw that as being part of my timeline,” Emhoff told The New York Times.
