Vice Squad Make Arrests at Edgewater Massage Parlor

EDGEWATER, MD – An Edgewater massage parlor was visited by Vice Squad detectives on Sunday, making one arrest.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Narcotics and Special Investigations Section, Vice Unit police received information regarding possible prostitution activity at Oriental Massage located at 3143 Solomon’s Island Road in Edgewater.

“Detectives initiated an investigation which resulted in charges of prostitution and performing massage therapy without a license against one employee, Nian Chen, 54, of Annapolis; and charges of an attempted 4th-degree sex offense and performing massage therapy without a license against a second employee, Meifang Shi, 61, of Flushing, NY,” the Anne Arundel County Police Department said in a statement.
