Victim Critical After Shooting at Winston-Salem Apartment Complex

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A shooting at the Pine Valley apartment complex in Winston-Salem has left a man in critical condition. Cassius Foster, 36, was found with a single gunshot wound to the head on Sunday. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

According to investigators, Foster was followed into the apartment complex by a white car, which discharged several rounds into his vehicle, striking him in the head. The impact of the gunshot caused a crash between several parked cars. The suspect fled the scene and has not been located.
