Victim found dead after vehicle crash shot multiple times

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore police officers investigating a shots fired call in the area of Ashburn Street Friday night located a vehicle that had struck multiple other vehicles on the street. As officers investigated the crash, they located a 39-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive inside the vehicle.

Police said the victim was shot multiple times inside the SUV.

“While canvassing the area, officers were alerted to a shooting victim in the 2500 block of Harlem Avenue,” the Baltimore Police Department said. “Officers responded and found a 39-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds, seated in an SUV that had struck several vehicles in the block.”

The man was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

At this time, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
