Victim in Brooklyn Shooting Pronounced Dead at Hospital

BROOKLYN, NY – A shooting at 68 Marcus Garvey Boulevard led police to respond to an emergency call on Saturday. At approximately 6:26 PM, officers arrived at the scene within the Sumner Houses area, finding a 32-year-old man shot and critically injured.

The victim, identified as Deon Williams of 834 Park Avenue, Brooklyn, was found unconscious and unresponsive with a torso gunshot wound. He was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Currently, no arrests have been made and the police continue their investigation.
