Victim targeted in DC robbery as suspects remain at large

WASHINGTON, DC — Two suspects involved in a late-night robbery in Northwest Washington are being sought after surveillance cameras captured their images near the scene of the crime.

The robbery occurred Sunday at approximately 11:20 p.m. in the 400 block of I Street, Northwest. The suspects approached the victim, forcibly grabbed her, and demanded money. One suspect reached into the victim’s pocket, took cash, and both fled the area.

Photos of the suspects have been released by investigators, who are asking for the community’s help in identifying them. Officials are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest and conviction.
