Man walks into hospital after being shot in West Baltimore

Baltimore, MD — A 30-year-old man is recovering after showing up at a hospital early Thursday morning with a gunshot wound, prompting a police investigation in West Baltimore.

The incident was first reported around 3:30 a.m. on September 25, when patrol officers responded to a local hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. Doctors determined the man was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

A preliminary investigation revealed the shooting took place near West North Avenue and Fulton Avenue. Detectives from the Western District have taken over the case.
