FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Over 100 vehicles were involved and at least 5 people are dead after a massive pileup caused by icy roads on an I-35 pileup. The incident occurred near downtown Fort Worth and included several tractor-trailers, some of which were caught on the video below of the accident.
Medstar has reported 36 people so far have been transported with a variety of different injuries, some critical. Several drivers had to be extricated.
A video taken at the scene during the time of the crash showed multiple tractor-trailers and vehicle crashing into cars already involved in the pileup, at one point throwing other cars in the air after they were struck.
