SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – A man was assaulted and a gun was recovered by police on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk at the Casino Pier. A video was published today to social media. Initially reported as a shooting, it was not. A man was knocked out by an unknown assailant and police recovered a handgun near where the man was found. Witnesses claim the man was hit with a gun and dropped it, but this has not been confirmed or acknowledged by the Seaside Heights Police Department.
