Violent Assault in Kingsbridge: Man Slashed in Daylight Attack

BRONX, NY—A 27-year-old man was attacked and slashed in the face on Saturday morning in front of 251 West Kingsbridge Road. At about 9:29 AM, the assailant, who approached from behind, brandished a knife and inflicted a facial wound on the victim.

Following the attack, the suspect fled on foot heading north on Bailey Avenue. Emergency services responded swiftly, and the victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The police are actively searching for the suspect, described as a male with a medium complexion and slim build, around 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He was last observed wearing a black t-shirt with a Levi’s logo, black sweatpants, black Crocs, and carrying a black fanny pack. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help in apprehending the assailant.
